Summer Course in Management & Business Skills


BBSI, a highly accredited Business College and English Language School in the UK, offers a short, summer certificate course in Management & Business Skills with English, which is conducted at our Summer School in Bournemouth, UK. 

Our summer course in Management & Business Skills comprises a study programme for 30 lessons (22.5 hours) weekly.  The course is designed for those with an English language level of Intermediate (IELTS 5.0) or above, who require to improve their English and business skills in the context of good management practice and its related fields. The course is modular in form and is ideal, in both structure and content, for those who need to function in English in an international environment, and who have a work or study-related background in management, supervision, administration, business or commerce.

      Course Duration.  2-12 weeks
Minimum English Entry Level.  IELTS 5.0 (Intermediate)
Course Designation.  MBS
Entry Dates.  Entry to this flexible course is weekly from July to September 2010. 
The first entry date for 2010 is 05 July and the last entry date is 13 September.
Minimum Age.  17 years
Award.  BBSI Certificate in Management & Business Skills
Course Structure & Content.  The course comprises 20 lessons weekly in management and 10 lessons of business skills.  Training focuses on the development of management, supervisory and business skills, and is designed to enable students to develop appropriate business vocabulary, as well as professional skills and professional communication skills.  The course combines current mangement, supervisory and business topics with targeted case studies.

BBSI courses are carefully designed and structured at different language levels to enable international students to develop all 4 English language skills simultaneously, while developing their professional communication skills and professional knowledge in academic, vocational or professional context, in the specialised subject of their choice.  Students therefore have the flexibility to focus on either academic or vocational progression, depending on their personal training needs and particular learning objectives.
